Dr. Yair Lifshitz, Vice President
Dr. Yair Lifshitz is head of the Ergonomics Unit at the
Research Center for Ergonomics Human Engineering at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. He was President and CEO of
Hamenia Goods Transport LTD, one of the largest private transportation and logistic groups in Israel.
For his
undergraduate degrees, he obtained double majors in Philosophy and Industrial Engineering and Management. He has become more
active in non-profit activities in recent years, serving as a director of the Haifa Foundation since 2000, becoming President
of the Israeli Ergonomics Society, Vice President of the IFSHJ, and president of a public society to protect handicapped children.
These recent activities underscore his desire to promote and support the cultural heritage and legacy of Judaism,
to develop a lively, open bridge between Jewish heritage and the young generation in the modern era, and to utilize and extend
Jewish wisdom, culture, philosophy, ethos, and moral codes in its mission to repair the world.
He has received
more than 20 prizes and awards for excellent activities and exceptional achievements, published more than 70 professional
and technical reports, and served as a consultant around the world to many major companies.
