INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION
FOR
SECULAR & HUMANISTIC JUDAISM
Building Humanistic Judaism
Internationally
Although we
have a network of volunteers, with decades of experience in building Humanistic and Judaic organizations and coalitions, we
also have expenses that need to be met in order to achieve our goals. The nature of our organization changed significantly
after the death of Rabbi Sherwin Wine, creating a need for a separate organization with its own website, personnel, and office.
We can no longer operate on the international travel done by Rabbi Sherwin Wine while he pursued all of his other duties.
Although we work to hold our international and national travel expenses to a minimum, some travel is needed in order to knit
together people all over the world.

At this time, our website and office
expenses are minimal, due to leveraging as many volunteer resources as possible. We have not yet found volunteer translation
resources for even modest quantities of the website. We have some select professional assistance, such as for fundamental
website design. At this point in time, however, our major expense is due to national and international travel. It is important
for us to visit national boards of directors at their conferences in order to knit together all of the Humanistic Jewish organizations
into as much of a whole as possible, and to learn how to support new organizations as they form throughout the world.
We hope you are pleased by the array of talents we have brought together to move the International Federation for Secular
& Humanistic Judaism forward. Your assistance can ensure that our efforts will continue. Humanistic Judaism is in the
process of becoming recognized as one of the major branches of Judaism. No other organization is as focussed on helping this
become a reality as is the IFSHJ. If you agree that this can help unify the Jewish people in a new way that is greatly needed
in the 21st century, then please consider helping us continue pursuing our goals.
